Job Description:We’re seeking an Audiovisual Lead Technician to join our client, a top player in commercial AV integration with over a decade of innovation. Known for high-quality audio, video, and lighting solutions, they need a dynamic leader to head their design-build installations department. In this role, you’ll drive innovative AV projects, leveraging your technical skills, system design expertise, and project management experience. Responsibilities:Perform installations of complex audiovisual systems at various commercial sites throughout our region.Design and configure AV systems according to client specifications and best practices.Manage/Supervise on-site teams, ensuring efficient execution of projects from inception through completion.Engage in rigorous testing and troubleshooting, ensuring systems meet operational standards and client needs.Provide detailed project documentation and maintain high safety and quality standards.Train team members on new technologies and installation techniques.Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions during installation projects, ensuring all client queries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
Requirements:Proven experience in audiovisual system installations and design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong technical knowledge of AV systems design and integration.Technical skills & know how in terminating low voltage audio, video, and lighting cabling.Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred technical certifications include AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, OSHA 10, and Forklift Operation.Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
