Construction Project Manager

Our client is looking to bring on a Project Manager to their team focused on a K-12 program. You’ll have the opportunity to use your vast experience in the industry and apply it to solving today’s challenges.
You’ll lead building and infrastructure projects consisting of multi-discipline teams of employees in design. You’ll play an integral role in mentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques.
Here's what you'll need:Professional Degree in Architecture, Construction Design, or related field is a plus!10+ years of experience in an Architectural/Construction organizationStrong working knowledge of the entire project delivery process, from pre-design through closeout, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship buildingStrong communication skills, both written and oralSelf-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activitiesStrong ability to understand and review drawings and specifications, submittals, RFI’s, schedules, change orders, and invoices.
It's a plus if you have:Prior project management experience in education building projectsProfessional Registered Architect (RA) and/or American Institute of Architects (AIA)
