Job SummaryThe Regional Estimations Manager ensures the organization meets customer aftermarket repair needs while leading the Estimations department to deliver exceptional service. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this role aligns sales and operations within Global Services – America.Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Training:
Train the estimations team to maximize customer satisfaction and promote continuous improvement.Sales Growth:
Drive sales through innovative marketing strategies tailored to customer needs.Team Development:
Equip the team to make informed decisions that benefit both customers and the company.Financial Forecasting:
Understand project complexities to provide accurate financial opportunity forecasts.Custom Approaches:
Develop unique strategies for each service opportunity, balancing company policies with individual project requirements.Reporting:
Generate cost metric and quote log reports for management as needed.Cross-Disciplinary Expertise:
Blend financial acumen with marketing, service, and engineering knowledge to create competitive cost estimates.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.Minimum five years in a service center, field service, or manufacturing, preferably in turbomachinery / rotating equipment.Experience in estimating, finance, accounting, or sales.Strong project management skills to ensure timely and budget-conscious quotations.Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and inspection reports.Knowledge of machining, welding, and mechanical processes.Superior analytical skills, product knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Oracle).Excellent supervisory and multitasking abilities under pressure.
