We are seeking a Electrical Engineering Technician for a very important client.

A Day in the Life of a Lab TechnicianSet up electrical dataloggers, sensors, pumps, and actuators. The candidate should have basicmechanical knowledge of how to set up and instrument a fluid test circuit on the bench.Use various lab tools to test/modify designs (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies,function generators, soldering irons/station, etc.)Nice to have basic embedded systems and LABVIEW knowledge. Instrument dialysisequipment with appropriate measurement systems to assess system performance.Operate tests on dialysis equipment to evaluate new hardware and software.Perform root cause analysis to understand source of equipment and test failures, includinganalysis of log files and electrical/mechanical measurements to diagnose issue.Utilize engineering documentation (circuit schematics, flow circuit diagrams, componentspecifications) to maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot equipment.Execute soldering reworks on PCBAs and perform basic mechanical modifications.Accurately and thoroughly document test results to meet quality system requirements.Maintain GDP (Good Documentation Practices) in data records.Ensure appropriate calibration and maintenance of test equipment.Organize and maintain lab stocks of consumable supplies in the work area.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow established environmental, health, and safety procedures.Debug and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment.Follow applicable quality system procedures governing development of a medical device.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Must Have: Minimum RequirementsRequires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degreewhich satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 1 year relevantexperience.Strong experience in building electronic circuits, using measuring instruments, andtroubleshooting.Proficiency in writing and developing LabVIEW and/or python programs for equipment controland data logging.Experience in managing calibration of instruments and equipment.Ability to work with external parties to arrange the fixing of equipment and instruments.Operate well in a team environment

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)Experience with hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or other blood filtration and devices.Advanced electronics or software debugging experience.Test fixture design and development experience.Knowledge of issue tracking tools such as Jira or Polarion.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to perform data entry, data analysis such as graphs andsummary statistics, and ability to format data as requested for export to other programs.Develop macros to analyze data.Proficiency with Microsoft Word to prepare and document test protocols and test reports.
