Job Details:Job Title: RAN EngineerJob Id: DISHJP00000428/DISHJP00000429Duration: 12-month Contract to hire (be looking to convert the contractors to FTE roughly at he end of the 3 months if business permits)
Location: 5701 S SANTA FE DRIVE, Littleton, CO- 80120 (Onsite)

Responsibilities:• Understand 3GPP specifications, perform analytical studies of the features, and evaluate their application and benefits for DISH wireless networks.• Research and evaluate emerging technologies in the Wireless industry and translate their application in an operation environment and user experience.• Work under the supervision of senior engineers, and help develop feature requirements for 5G radio.• Work on RAN test and validation processes, test cases, and testing of the RAN features and application in lab and field.• Work with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot RAN performance issues.• Interface with Network Engineering and Design teams on planning, deployment, and optimization.
Skills:
• Bachelors or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.• 3-5 years of cellular industry working experience.• Knowledge of digital communication theory, channel, waveform, modulation and coding, and RF propagation.• Knowledge of the end-to-end physical layer communication systems.• Must have demonstrated an understanding of new technologies and processes quickly.• Positive and strong team player.• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
