Learn more about us (3) LER TechForce: Life | LinkedInWhat you will be doing:Confirm that new software features integrated with system meet functionality requirements.Design and provide technical documents for the developed software.Requirements validation & analysis.Develop automated test scripts for embedded software validation.Ensure process compliance and configuration management.Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance performance.Follow common problem-solving techniques, such as 5 why's, fishbone, etc.Participate in software reviews.Provide technical support, guidance, and collaboration for all software implementations.Validating and Testing embedded CAN-FD messages for engine control modules.Tools Integration work consists of ensuring that all interfaces between the engine's electronics system and off-board support tools function correctly. This includes the interfaces between the Engine Control Module's (ECM) embedded controls software and PC based tools.
What you'll need to be successful:Essential:College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.Electronics OR controls backgroundEmbedded C development of CAN-FD messagesScripting experience (CAPL, Python, MatLAB or some other script language)Troubleshooting CAN messagesMS office suit solid knowledge is required.Humble, and teachableEffective and collaborative team playerGood communicator - written and verbal
Preferred:Experience with interfaces between Engine Control Module's (ECM) embedded controls software and PC based toolsCAPL script creation will be prioritized over developers that do not have CAPL experienceVisual Basic macro development
