Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled
Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent
with a proven background in roadway, highway, and paving projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading field operations, managing crews, and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for roadway, highway, and paving projects.Oversee and manage field staff, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.Develop and maintain project schedules and work plans to meet project milestones.Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and safety regulations.Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to uphold construction standards.Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate project progress and resolve any issues.Address and mitigate any field challenges or changes effectively.Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation.Foster a culture of safety and uphold company safety protocols on all job sites.
Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction, specifically with roadway, highway, and paving projects.Extensive knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations in heavy civil work.Proven ability to manage crews and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficiency with construction management software and tools.Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
