Our client, a luxury brand specializing in denim, is looking for a professional and dependable Assistant Technical Designer to join their Los Angeles team!
Responsibilities:Measuring & tracking fit samples, entering measurements in PLM.Updating google sheets, organizing fit sample libraries, responding to vendor emails.Updating fit outlooks/fit lists, supporting fit sessions by taking photos and notes.Supporting the implementation of PLM and building standard operating procedures/manuals.Keeping an organized determent with samples racked by season, ensuring they are tagged correctly.Attending weekly visits to domestic suppliers to pick up and drop off patterns, fabric, cut work and sewing.
Requirements:Experience with Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Google programs, WFX PLM.Excellent written and verbal communication.Knowledge of pattern making, garment construction and measurements.Must own a car or have reliable transportation (will be travelling once a week to nearby factories and vendors).Must have either an internship or degree in fashion, bachelor’s, or equivalent experience in industry (1-3 years technical design experience preferred).
