Lodge Bread opened its first brick-and-mortar in 2015 and now has 3 locations with two more on the horizon. This is a growing group! Presently, the bakery is focused on whole-grain sourdough bread making and milling flour. This owner-operated and team-focused bakery was founded on quality essentials: using fresh, clean ingredients to provide authentic food and service for their guests.
The pastry program is based out of the Culver City location, where lamination is done in-house and baked fresh. Current offerings feature, but are not limited to: croissants, scones, cookies, viennoisserie and other assorted delightful breakfast pastries.
Lodge Bread is looking for a talented and collaborative Executive Pastry Chef to join the team!
The growing artisan bread company is seeking a hands-on, flexible, pastry chef with viennoiserie experience. This role is responsible for managing team members, ordering, inventory, production schedules and other admin – as well as hands on baking! Ideally, looking for a Pastry Chef who will collaborate closely alongside ownership on recipe development and innovation. Executive Pastry Chefs should have three years experience in similar roles, preferably in a high volume scratch bakery using premium ingredients. Knowledge of kitchen Spanish is a plus. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a growing group with exciting plans ahead.
Compensation includes base salary in the 85k-100k range, full medical coverage (!), and 2 weeks PTO.
