Test Architect - Capital Markets Global FX Team
This position is Hybrid to Downtown Chicago
Overview:As a Test Architect, you will lead the development of our test automation strategy, tools, technologies, and processes.
Experience Level:
Senior
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.10+ years of experience in software engineering and testing.Familiarity with the Banking/Financial domain and Trading Lifecycle.Proven experience in multi-tiered, complex system design and architecture.Deep understanding of large, complex enterprise architectures.Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, CA DevTest, and Cucumber.Proficient in Core Java, SQL, Mark Logic, RESTful APIs, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.Familiarity with container orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps.Proficient in test data and environment management.Experience with both mainframe and distributed systems.Knowledge of various technologies including HTTPS, SFTP, HTML, JSP, XML, JSON, CSS, MQ, and Kafka.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and innovation for the Wealth Management test strategy.Enhance product quality through testing innovations and process improvements.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and Developers to design testable applications.Drive DevOps initiatives in partnership with Development, Business, and Testing teams.Ensure efficient delivery of Wealth Management capabilities through test automation.Promote and support the implementation of CI/CT/CD pipelines.Develop and extend test automation frameworks for UI, microservices, mobile, and APIs.Collaborate with Test Capabilities Engineers to leverage existing assets and develop new solutions.Analyze, optimize, and maintain current test automation suites.Work with stakeholders to plan, estimate, and implement test automation strategies.Ensure compliance with automation frameworks, standards, and best practices.Facilitate automated, on-demand test automation metrics.Conduct test design reviews and seek stakeholder feedback through automation demos.
