Project Overview: The contractor will assist the Capital Markets Global FX team on testing and automation requirements for modernization efforts
Contractor’s Role: The Test Architect will be responsible for the overall test automation strategy, tools, technology and process
Experience: Senior
Qualifications• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology• 10+ years of software engineering & testing experience• Familiarity with Banking/Financial domain & Trading Lifecycle• Experience in multi-tiered, complex system design & architecture• Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills• Positive & adaptable; Multi-task in a continually changing environment• Ability to work independently and with a team• Proven interpersonal and communication skills with technical & business partners• Aptitude for understanding large, complex, multi-tiered enterprise architecture• Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile practices• Automation expertise including Selenium, TestNG, CA DevTest & Cucumber• Strong Core Java, SQL, MarkLogic, RESTful APIs & Pivotal Cloud Foundry experience• Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)• Experience in Jira & Azure DevOps tools• Proficiency in test data and environment management• Previous work in both mainframe & distributed systems• Variety of technologies: HTTPS, SFTP, HTML, JSP, XML, JSON, CSS, MQ, Kafka
Tasks & Responsibilities:• Technical leadership & innovation for Wealth Management test strategy• Advance product quality via testing innovations and process improvement• Collaborate with BAs, Architects & Developers in designing testable applications• DevOps initiatives in collaboration with Development, Business & Testing partners• Efficient delivery of Wealth Management Capabilities via test automation activities• Promote and support implementation of CI/CT/CD pipeline
