We are currently hiring a Project Controls Administrator for our client in the Houston, TX Area.
Job SummaryThe Project Controls Administrator is a role that supports the Development team with PO and invoice approval, data collection, general assistance with adherence to established processes, and other tasks as needed, to help streamline the efficiency of the group. This individual will report to the Project Controls Manager and willsupport the overall functionality of the Project Controls group within the Development team.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesCost Management: Support cost engineering processes and procedures (including estimating, forecasting, and actuals reporting) for projects,Be familiar with internal processes and proceduresAssist with processing various reports with Supply Chain & Procurement and FinanceSupport data collection processes for the Cost Engineering teamCommunication: Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and draft meeting summaries to ensure effective communication within the Development team and with other departments (as needed),Process Support: Assist with invoicing and timesheet approval(s), Purchase Order requisition(s), close-out of projects with Accounting, and manage Material procurement and Purchase Order related updates in Acumatica.
Other Tasks: Perform additional administrative tasks, purchase of equipment and supplies, and other tasks required for process enhancement to promote the overall function of the Development team.
Experience & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related fieldPrevious experience in Project Controls or Administrative type rolesProficient in Microsoft Office platformsAbility to travel to Energy headquarters in Houston, TexasJob Specific SkillsStrong organization skills with the ability to pay attention to detail and accuracyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interface, influence, and work effectively with othersAbility to be agile and manage multiple priorities, evolving processes, and change management"Can do” attitude as a key team member with flexibility, enthusiasm, reliability, and discretionAdopts and promotes a working environment of excellenceForward-thinker who has the ability to analyze and establish processes with long-term benefits in mindProactive individual who is able to achieve goals independently and without extensive supervisionSelf-starter, who is able to provide and take ownership on initiatives that can offer continuousimprovement to existing processes and proceduresAn innovative thinker who can generate new ideas and solutions with non-traditional approaches
