We are currently hiring a Project Controls Administrator for our client in the Houston, TX Area.
Job Summary
The Project Controls Administrator is a role that supports the Development team with PO and invoice approval, data collection, general assistance with adherence to established processes, and other tasks as needed, to help streamline the efficiency of the group. This individual will report to the Project Controls Manager and will
support the overall functionality of the Project Controls group within the Development team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Cost Management: Support cost engineering processes and procedures (including estimating, forecasting, and actuals reporting) for projects,
Be familiar with internal processes and procedures
Assist with processing various reports with Supply Chain & Procurement and Finance
Support data collection processes for the Cost Engineering team
Communication: Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and draft meeting summaries to ensure effective communication within the Development team and with other departments (as needed),
Process Support: Assist with invoicing and timesheet approval(s), Purchase Order requisition(s), close-out of projects with Accounting, and manage Material procurement and Purchase Order related updates in Acumatica.
Other Tasks: Perform additional administrative tasks, purchase of equipment and supplies, and other tasks required for process enhancement to promote the overall function of the Development team.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Previous experience in Project Controls or Administrative type roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms
Ability to travel to Energy headquarters in Houston, Texas
