Role OverviewThe client is seeking candidates for entry-level Structural Engineering positions. A Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Applicants should have completed coursework in structural analysis and design, and while an EIT/FE certificate is preferred, it is not mandatoryRole ResponsibilitiesConduct analysis and design of structural systems for various building types, adhering to relevant building codes.Contribute to all aspects of building structures and building envelope systems, focusing on materials such as steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber, glass, and aluminum.Perform calculations and analysis of loads (e.g., dead loads, live loads, wind loads) to help project teams determine the necessary strength and stability of structures.Examine existing structures to document as-built construction details.Visit construction sites to monitor progress and assess the quality of structural drawings, providing solutions for any site-related issues that arise.Prepare technical reports and documentation to share engineering findings, analysis, and recommendations with project stakeholders.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, to achieve project objectives and address technical challenges.Maintain thorough records of design specifications, calculations, and the solutions implemented throughout the project.Utilize CAD/BIM software to produce detailed structural drawings and plans for construction projects.Key RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
