LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading CPG company headquartered in downtown Chicago seeking an experienced
ESG Project Manager
to spearhead the design and implementation of an internal ESG reporting platform. In this role, you will manage complex, cross-functional projects with an emphasis on data privacy, compliance, policy alignment, regulatory frameworks and reporting deliverables. You will work closely with the Transformation Management Office (TMO), ensuring that their ESG reporting initiatives stay on track and meet key milestones.ESG Project Manager
Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for the creation of an ESG reporting platform, focusing on CSRD and Global Greenhouse Gas standardsManage project planning, execution, monitoring and delivery while maintaining alignment with regulatory requirementsRegularly review milestones, update TMO decks, provide detailed reports on project status and present to steering committeesProactively identify risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies and ensure escalation when necessaryCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication across departmentsEnsure all ESG data is handled in compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policiesDrive engagement and alignment across cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, finance, IT and external consultantsMonitor RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and address project bottlenecks as neededSupport the broader Transformation Management Team on portfolio management and strategic initiativesESG Project Manager
Requirements:Proven experience managing technology-driven projects with a focus on ESG reporting or sustainability programsStrong understanding of CSRD, Greenhouse Gas Protocols and other related ESG reporting frameworksFamiliarity with data privacy regulations and compliance in the context of ESG and sustainability reportingConsultancy experience highly preferredExpertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) with a strong ability to handle multiple workstreamsSolid experience in creating project updates for steering committees and managing high-level stakeholder communicationExcellent organizational, communication and leadership skillsAbility to work independently in a remote setting and travel as requiredPMP, PRINCE2 or other relevant project management certifications preferredExperience in building or implementing ESG platforms or working in data governance role a plusFamiliarity with Transformation Management Office (TMO) operations preferredIf you are interested, please apply today!Thank you,Emily BurkhardtSenior Project ManagerLaSalle NetworkLaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.LaSalle Network is the leading provider of direct hire and temporary staffing services.
