Business Overview:
DEHN Inc. is the USA subsidiary for DEHN SE (ISO 9001/14001
certified). We focus on solutions for lightning and surge-related
problems as they apply to the North American market. These
solutions include education, technical assistance, system design,
risk assessments and site surveys in addition to the lightning and
electrical surge protection products.

experience globally and apply them to the USA IEEE and NEC
standards. By combining the best technologies and processes from

communications, energy, electronics, industrial, hospitality,
infrastructure, medical, security & defense markets.
IT Technician Position Summary:
The IT Technician will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to end-users, with a focus on PC systems, networking, and Microsoft M365 applications. The candidate will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, install and configure systems, and ensure the smooth operation of IT services within the organization according to corporate IT standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
User Support:
o Provide timely and effective support to end-users via various channels,
including in-person, remote assistance, and ticketing system.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PC hardware and software,
networking, and Microsoft M365 applications.
Endpoint Management:
o Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other computing
devices.
o Ensure proper installation and functioning of software applications, updates,
and patches.
Network Support:
o Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
o Assist in the configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and other
networking equipment.
o Collaborate with network administrators from the corporate IT to optimize
network performance.
Microsoft M365 Support:
o Administer Microsoft M365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel,
Teams, and SharePoint.
o Resolve issues related to M365 licensing, permissions, and access.
o Assist users with collaboration tools and cloud-based services within the M365
suite.
Documentation and Training:
o Maintain detailed documentation of common issues and resolutions.
o Develop and conduct training sessions for end-users on IT systems and best
practices.
Security and Compliance:
o Implement and enforce security policies and procedures according to
corporate IT standards.
o Inform users about security and compliance practices.
International Collaboration:
o Maintain regular communication and collaboration with the corporate IT
located in Germany.
o Provide updates on ongoing projects, technical issues, and support
requirements.
o Participate in virtual meetings and discussions to ensure alignment with global
IT standards and policies.
Requirements:
Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field. A Bachelors degree is strongly preferred.
Proven experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting.
2+ years of experience in manufacturing IT is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of PC hardware/peripherals, operating systems, and software applications.
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
Proficiency in Microsoft M365 applications and service.
Demonstrated excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, adjust to multiple priorities, and comply with deadlines.
Demonstrated excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
