Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Windows Application
Administrator
with a strong background in IAS (Internet Authentication Service), SQL/NoSQL databases, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Windows environments, a solid understanding of network storage and server administration, and a strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot services. Hands-on experience with Powershell scripting, system monitoring, and service log analysis is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Windows Administration:Oversee the administration of Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security.Manage and configure IAS (Internet Authentication Service) for centralized authentication, authorization, and accounting in network environments.Perform application administration and troubleshooting in Windows environments.
Database Management:Work with
SQL
and
NoSQL
databases, including performance tuning and optimization of complex queries.Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries to improve database performance.Understand database schema, indexing strategies, and the inner workings of database management systems.
AWS Cloud Management:Hands-on provisioning and managing resources in
AWS , including EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM.Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance based on business needs.Monitor AWS environments, including setting up alarms, logs, and metrics via AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
Monitoring and Network Storage:Set up and manage monitoring systems (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.) to ensure system health, performance, and uptime.Design and maintain network storage solutions and maps, ensuring efficient data flow and security.
PowerShell Scripting & Automation:Develop, manage, and automate tasks via
PowerShell
scripting to improve operational efficiency and system performance.
Service Log Analysis & Troubleshooting:Analyze service logs and events to identify and troubleshoot performance issues, failures, and incidents across systems and applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Advanced experience in Windows Server administration (Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, etc.).In-depth knowledge of IAS server configuration and troubleshooting.Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Expertise in SQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.Solid understanding of database architecture and administration.Hands-on experience with AWS provisioning and management, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.Knowledge of cloud security best practices, networking, and cost management strategies.Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation of system administration tasks.Experience setting up network storage solutions (e.g., NAS, SAN) and understanding storage protocols (NFS, iSCSI).Familiarity with setting up network maps for visualization and troubleshooting.Experience configuring and managing system monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, orExpertise in log analysis, identifying issues from service logs, and remediating service disruptions.
Preferred Skills:Experience with containerization technologies such as
Docker
and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.Familiarity with
Linux
administration.Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or Windows Server (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) is a plus.
