Position OverviewThe Vice President of Finance will lead the Accounting and Finance teams, ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organization. This executive will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, overseeing financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with SEC regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial management within the financial services sector, with a strong background in public accounting.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the Accounting and Finance teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including 10K and 10Q filings.Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.Monitor financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team.Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and financial goals.Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.Mentor and develop team members, building a high-performing finance organization.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or a large national CPA firm is strongly preferred.In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations and financial reporting requirements.Proven track record of strategic financial planning and analysis.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
