Job Summary:
Air Systems is looking for a Project Manager experienced in HVAC MEP who likes the challenge of unique designs, projects and deadlines. This is a full-time position reporting to the Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for coordinating multiple jobs simultaneously, while also providing leadership to large project teams and to the HVAC MEP department. The Project Manager works with customers to develop the project scope of work, budgeting and estimating costs, and oversees preparation of documents and HVAC, mechanical, piping, and plumbing project plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:Develops and maintains professional communications with co-workers and clientsMake sales contacts, research customer needs, and follow up on sales leadsDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, assuring client satisfactionMeet established revenue and profit goalsAttend client project meetingsEstablish, manage, and provide leadership to job/project teamFacilitates and troubleshoots problems associated with projectPurchase materials and equipment as neededMaintain control and accurate projections of project costsProvide department leadership by example and mentoring.Support accountability for individual projects as well as MEP department in generalMaintains and follows established Air Systems Project Management procedures
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:5+ Years experience as a Project Manager in HVAC / MEP industry.Proficient on MS Office SuiteExcellent oral/written communication skillsDeveloped presentation skillsExcellent customer relations skillsAttention to DetailProactiveBe able to multi-taskExcellent OrganizationAbility to problem solveTeam PlayerFlexibleAble to work in a fast-paced environmentCreative use of skills and resources to get the job done
