The Loch Group is working with a Commercial Real Estate Developer who is looking for an Associate Counsel. The ideal candidate must have 1-4 years of experience in commercial real estate law, preferably transactional.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other real estate-related documents.Research and advise on real estate law, land use, and regulatory matters affecting development projects.Work with outside counsel on litigation, compliance and other legal issues.Provide legal support for ongoing property management, leasing, and tenant-related matters.Assist with corporate governance and compliance as needed.
Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Texas1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate law, preferably in a law firm or in-house environment.Strong understanding of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
