Summary
We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Service Technician for a role in San Diego, CA. This position focuses on servicing and maintaining building automation systems (BAS) for commercial HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have a local presence, a stable work history, and at least three years of hands-on experience working with building automation controls in commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Service, troubleshoot, and maintain building automation systems (BAS), focusing on commercial HVAC controls.Diagnose issues and repair BACnet, DDC controls, and systems such as ALC, Alerton, Tridium Niagara, and DistechPerform routine maintenance and system upgrades to ensure optimal system performance.Collaborate with clients to provide technical support, explain system functionality, and recommend improvements.Work closely with other technicians and engineers to optimize the performance of integrated building systems.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience building automation controls, specifically with commercial HVAC systems.Expertise in BACnet, DDC controls, ALC, Alerton, Tridium Niagara, and Distech systems.Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and related BAS integration.Proven local and stable work history in building automation or a related field.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and control schematics.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
