with development and database administration experience to join our Data Technologies Team. This team is responsible for supporting our middle and back office application teams with all of their database needs. You’ll be designing and optimizing systems that process massive amounts of data, ensuring high performance and stability.In This Role, You WillDesign, develop, and support database applications for our data systemsDesign solutions using Oracle and PL/SQL technologiesConduct performance tuning, schema changes, and database releasesWrite scripts using Unix shell script and/or PythonProvide production support off hours/weekend, when needed
QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with database development and Oracle database administrationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline or its foreign equivalentHands-on experience building solutions in relational databases in OracleExperience working with large data sets (terabytes)Shell or Python scripting and programming skillsETL, SQL, PL/SQL database tuning, and partitioning experienceStrong communication skills and experience working directly with end usersHadoop or Big Data technologies experience (preferred)
