Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering which provides the ability to attain PE licensure from an ABET accredited University.• Knowledge & application of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements• Knowledge & application of NFPA 400 Hazardous Materials Code• Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and manufacturer’s equipment including VESDA systems• Design experience with Fire Alarm, VESDA systems, TGMS sensors, HPM sensors, and Leak Detection.• Knowledge of design and construction specifications• Experience working in construction environments including field verifications.• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Access, Outlook and Excel.

Ideally, you’ll also have:• PE Registration• Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code• Working knowledge of 3D BIM software (Revit)• Design experience in semiconductor or datacenters• Experience estimating and scheduling mid to large-scale projects• Understanding of diagrams and schematics as related to controls systems, networking, electrical and mechanical.• User level experience with AutoCAD computer drafting software.• Ability for forward thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and to contribute with innovative ideas.• Displayed ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden knowledge base.• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:We're looking for a “TGMS” Toxic Gas Monitoring System Specialist in Santa Clara, California. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, research facilities and other industrial or commercial manufacturing facilities. This position will provide opportunities for the delivery of complex packages in coordination with engineers and stakeholders focused on process chemical systems design and gas cabinet monitoring for critical Life Safety Systems that protect and enable the heart of our clients’ business. You will interface directly with client counterparts in designing their facilities. Utilizing AutoCAD and other engineering tools, you’ll be supporting the technical quality and functionality of challenging engineering and programming tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
