Chef de Cuisine
is a culinary virtuoso who recognizes that the quality of the dishes they create is directly linked to the passion and expertise of their kitchen team. They stay at the forefront of culinary trends and enthusiastically contribute to the development of new ideas and innovations. Their expertise is instrumental in elevating both the restaurant's top and bottom-line performance through the execution of a menu celebrated for its sophisticated cowboy cuisine.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Partner with GM and/or designated managers/chefs to conduct periodic kitchen, dish and all other BOH team meetingsPartner with GM and/or designated managers/chefs to regularly review and maintain recipe booksProficiently use and operate all necessary tools (including but not limited to knives) and equipmentModel and promote teamwork across all teamsUse tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors and employees, and respond with patience and courtesyFollow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee HandbookOther duties assigned as needed
Required:Culinary degree or bachelor's degree in hospitality management preferred3+ years of experience as a chef de cuisine, head chef, or executive chef in a similar restaurant with high volumeThrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentDevelops menu strategies for future growthEasily transitions between big-picture and detailed tasksDrives team growth through accountabilityLeads by inspiring and developing othersMaintains composure under pressureUnderstands the competitive landscape and strives for leadershipEmbodies a business-driving and thought-leading mindsetKnowledge of Fusion Prep; familiarity with Craftable is a plusEqual Opportunity Employer
