OverviewThe Infrastructure Systems Architect is responsible for Azure, AWS, Active Directory, and related solutions in the organization. This role designs, manages, deploys and supports the systems and identity technology ecosystem for the organization. The Infrastructure Systems Architect works with Infrastructure Operations, IT Support Operations and the Security Operations teams to define and deliver secure and supportable computing and organizational needs.
ResponsibilitiesSet technical direction and standardization for Infrastructure Operations, setting goals, creating roadmap and documentation and execution on projectsDesign, implement and refine systems configuration standards including Windows and Linux machines across Azure and AWSTechnical and strategic ownership of Active Directory and Okta identity solutionsLeadership on SSO/connectivity solutions across AWS, Azure and On-PremCreate comprehensive solutions that address business needs, user requirements, security, scalability, performance and industry trends across Azure, AWS and M365 as well as connected solutionsMonitor and optimize systems performance, ensuring a seamless user experience.Manage infrastructure incidents as part of the overall incident management system.Act as Tier 3 user technical support, providing an escalation path for the Support Operations team.Provide technical direction to Infrastructure and Support Operations for standards and technology selection to support organizational goals.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, Engineering, Math or relevant field of study8+ years’ hands-on technical experience supporting and implementing large-scale Active Directory environments8+ years’ experience supporting Windows and Mac devices in a mid-size (1-2k user) enterprise environmentExcellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical peopleExtensive knowledge of Microsoft solutions and products for systems environmentsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsArchitectural design and maintenance experience with Active Directory and connected AWS spacesDemonstrated problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientationProven ability to work with a team to successfully complete projects on time and meet all deliverablesAn innovative thinker that thrives in a fast-paced environment
