We are seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic, growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in the marketing or advertising space, liaising with cross-functional teams, and delivering projects on time and within budget. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, development, tracking, and delivery of various marketing projects, while monitoring agency profitability and efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire lifecycle of marketing projects, from initial briefing to final execution and delivery, ensuring smooth transitions through each phase.Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to define clear project requirements, timelines, milestones, steps, contributors, coordination of projects through various stages of the project lifecycle.Use project management software such as Workamajig, Asana, Monday, etc. to create and nurture project plansVet and introduce a new software to our stack for the purpose of consensus-building and feedback-tracking (such as Ziflow). Build a repeatable process for utilizing the software.Usher work thorough the agency, and “own” the routing of projects for approval by any key stakeholders at various stages of the project lifecycle.Understand which contributors are working on a project at any given stage of the project lifecycle, and regularly check in with them about progress and any upcoming hand-offs.Monitor resource availability and manage team workloads to prevent bottlenecks and avoid over-allocating time to individual project contributors.Create and maintain detailed project timelines, proactively identifying potential conflicts and adjusting schedules as necessary to keep projects on track.Implement and refine workflow processes that streamline project execution, enhance team productivity, and ensure efficient resources.Establish feedback loops to capture insights and lessons learned, using them to improve future project outcomes.Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams providing timely updates on project status and any changes.Facilitate regular status meetings and generate reports to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and key developments.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience.7-10 years of SENIOR project management experience.Agency experience strongly preferred.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience coordinating creative projects, including print, digital, and film/video.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Eager to learn and work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Fast learner able to adapt to new systems and methodologies.Digitally savvy and knowledgeable about best practices and platforms.Strong leadership skills with the ability to advise, guide, and motivate cross-functional teams.Highly proficient in project management tools and software. Experience in Workamajig is a plus.Solid understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
