JOB SUMMARY:Restaurant Manager oversees all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests. This role involves managing staff, maintaining quality standards, optimizing profitability, and upholding the restaurant's reputation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Supporting the General Manager in running the daily operations of the restaurantSupervise and coordinate the activities of the restaurant floor staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest serviceRecruit, train, and supervise FOH staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standardsOversee scheduling for FOH team, ensuring sufficient staffing levels to meet business demands while optimizing labor costsMaintain and keep record of food and equipment inventoriesSchedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantityMonitor budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgetedAddress guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional mannerProvide support and guidance to the service team, including servers, server supports, and receptionsCollaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food ordersConduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, menu changes, and service expectationsAssist in training new staff members and providing ongoing coaching and feedbackMaintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and other furnishingsOversee the closing procedures, including cash handling, reconciliation, and securing the premisesCollaborate with other managers to ensure seamless coordination between FOH and Kitchen operationsFollow Zuma's service standards and protocols, including uniform guidelines, grooming standards, and service etiquetteOperate ethically to protect the image of the companyPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

JOB KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:3+ years of experience in restaurant management role in a premium dining environmentExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamIn-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, guest relations, and compliance with health and safety regulationsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staffAbility to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionallyKnowledge of restaurant operations and service standardsFamiliarity with POS systems and basic administrative tasksPassion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest serviceAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standardsMust be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; Ability to stand for prolong periods of time and climb steps regularlyAbility to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment
