We are a cross-border Corporate Services firm that is looking to expand our tax services. The right candidate is a tax professional who will work as a key member of our Tax Dept. team rendering high quality tax services and ensuring we are meeting all our clients’ tax needs.
Main Responsibilities:Prepare C corporation federal and multi-state income tax returns and workpapersAssist Tax Management and internal accounting staff with their income tax questions and issuesResearch federal, state and international income tax issues using tax research softwareReview and respond to notices and correspondence from governmental agencies for various federal and state tax issues and other inquiriesDiscuss and resolve tax and financial questions/issues with clients and prospective clientsAssist in the preparation of income tax accruals for year-end financial statementsPrepare quarterly estimated tax payment calculations for large corporation clients
Required Qualifications and Skills:2-3 years’ experience (at a CPA firm ideally) preparing C Corporation and multi-state income tax returnsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredCPA certification or working towards CPA preferredExperience preparing the following forms is a plus: Forms 5472, 5471, 1118, 8992, 8993, and FBARExperience with CCH Wolters Kluwer Profx System or Axcess Tax preferredExperience with Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to manage and work as a part of a teamAbility to interact and maintain strong relationships with clients
