Position: Instrumentation and Controls Technician
Overview:We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be strong in
industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
Role Summary:Under general supervision, this position encompasses a wide range of skilled activities involving the
design, installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of control systems
used in
manufacturing environments.
Technicians will work independently, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment while being familiar with operational procedures and policies.
Skills Needed:Ability to diagnose and repair various electrical and electronic instrumentation devices.Proficient in using diagnostic instruments for complex systems.Capable of working safely in hazardous environments.Strong understanding of electrical theory and related engineering principles.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in using computer systems and relevant software applications.
Supervisory Duties:Oversee contractors and maintenance teams in project execution, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Knowledge:Familiarity with industrial communications protocols.Proficient in troubleshooting Vision systems and control equipment.Understanding of radio telecommunications principles and installation practices.Experience with electrical power design and industrial systems.Knowledge of electronic components, including PLCs and variable frequency drives.Awareness of safety regulations and best practices in the industry.
