Job Summary:We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team to develop and automate solutions for operational efficiencies and improved reliability of our Cloud Platform. As we expand customer deployments, you will work with our DevOps and Product Development teams and play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and services.Job Description:Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault findingPartner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release proceduresCollaborate with development and operations teams to promote a DevOps culture and streamline the software delivery processParticipate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planningAutomate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventionAfter incidents, document actions in order to create automated solutions during incident response.Monitor infrastructure using SRE tools, and suggest tools as necessaryBuild monitoring alerts and incident response processesImprove operational processes and team practicesCoding infrastructure automation across the CI/CD pipeline
Key Skills:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related disciplineProven work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar roleStrong proficiency in DevOps practices and toolsAbility to program using one or more high-level languages, such as Python and/or JavaProactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvementExperience with IaC tools such as TerraformExperience managing and scaling enterprise scale infrastructure and experience with observability and application monitoring tools"
