Forsyth Barnes have partnered with an innovative and fast-growth Consumer Goods brand on their search for a Director of Digital Product. The business are a leader within their category and loved by customers worldwide (40+ countries).
As the Director of Digital Product, this position will lead a cross functional product team, aimed at developing and delivering the best in class experiences across multiple brands. This includes re-launch of a new website, new product launches, eCommerce strategy, optimisation, testing, customer acquisition, content launches and conversion.
You will work closely with a world-class engineering and development team and ideally come with proven experience launching multiple digital platforms and products – within the Consumer Goods, Retail or Lifestyle Brand space.
Director of Digital Product Responsibilities:Preparation, leadership and managing new website launchesTechnical leadership – responsible for growth optimization, ecommerce optimization and associate infrastructure and technologiesDevelop and implement eCommerce experience vision, mission, and overall direction.Ensure business processes and systems are designed, developed, and operationalOversee and drive best practices in web functionality and overall user experience standards across multiple global brand sites.Drive a culture of iterative testing and learning in order to increase site conversion, as well as to help build a culture of continuous improvement.
Director of Digital Product Requirements:Proven eCommerce and Digital Product leadership within the Consumer Goods, Retail, DTC spaceStrong leadership and management skills, particularly across greenfield projects with diverse teams and complexityFirm understanding and experience leading of UX, UI, Web Design, Technology and associated operationsDemonstrated understanding of eCommerce best practices and usabilityExperience leading major strategic initiatives, ideally including testing, technology & design integrationExperience launching new digital products and websitesExperience leading, motivating and challenging teams in a way that inspires and promotes excellence.
