Job Title
Senior Electrical/Controls Engineer
Job DescriptionEngineering of industrial manufacturing equipment including electrical system design, PLC/HMI programming, project management, and manufacturing support. Reports to the Engineering Manager.
Daily duties· Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical· Assemble electrical system bill of materials· Develop and implement control programs for industrial PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs· Meet established deadlines through successful project management and scheduling· Support customers with machine troubleshooting· Manage electrical department of 7 electricians, fabricators, and panel builders· Collaborate with mechanical engineering team on design of machine functions and operations· Support research and development projects· Limited travel for installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer facilities
Requirements:· Programming experience with Allen Bradley and Schneider Electric control systems and software· 2+ years experience designing electrical power and control systems· Experience with AutoCad preferred
Compensation:Great Annual Salary Range based on experienceMedical: Company pays half of premiums. Dental and vision options available.Life Insurance: $10,000 included (higher amounts available).Retirement: 401K with company match (after 3 month waiting period). Work week:42.5 hours per week. 7:30am to 4:30pm, ½ hr for lunch.
