l eading electrical engineering projects within O&M for the maintenance and improvements of renewable energy facilities and provide technical assistance to field personnel in the areas of high voltage collection, substation, and transmission equipment up to 500kV.? If so, we need to talk.
In addition, electrical technical interface to support procurement and factory testing of the major electrical equipment to be installed at the renewable energy facilities and power performance of electricity generating and collection system equipment.
Training, coaching, and mentoring electrical field technicians and operations staff in the preventative maintenance and operation of electrical distribution and control systems.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for applicable NERC Reliability Standards. Provide technical support in resolving codes and standards issues (NEC, NESC, NFPA 70E, ANSI, UL, IEC)
Preferred Skills & Expertiseable to build relationships with 3rd party service providers.Degree (ABET accredited university) or equivalent required.Engineering (P.E) License preferred, but not required5 years of experience in utility or power plant operations and maintenance with knowledge of protective relay application and software (Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), GE Multilin Enervista UR, etc.)
Have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Hold or be able to obtain a Passport.
