Job Overview:
Will serve in a HR technology role to support US Payroll team, year-end processes and drive design of process improvements for US Payroll enhancements and defects. Will be responsible for functional and technical guidance and consulting throughout the lifecycle of each initiative, including design, security, testing and implementation. Will research and evaluate options, recommend alternative solutions, impacts and prioritize deliverables. Will work with HR business SMEs to translate complex global business requirements into system solutions and configuration, as well as system developers on integration and other technical design considerations.
Tasks & Responsibilities:*Serve in a HR technology role to support global Workday time and absence functionality as well as defects and enhancement projects.*Responsible for functional and technical guidance and consulting throughout the lifecycle of each project, including design, configuration, security, testing and implementation.*Will research and evaluate options, recommend alternative solutions, impacts, prioritize deliverables and drive each unit of work to completion.*Work closely with HR business SMEs to translate complex global business requirements into system solutions and configuration, as well as system developers on integration and other technical design considerations.
Qualifications (must haves):Workday HCM solution architect with previous experience implementing or supporting US PayrollAdept at testing and troubleshooting integration issuesExperience creating and loading EIBsStrong solution consulting and communication skillsProject management, strong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work well with business subject matter experts and technical resources to deliver work on time according to project schedule.Knowledge of system capabilities, usually acquired through formal training or experience, is required to assess automation and configuration possibilitiesOrganizational skills are required to develop and monitor project plans as well as organize time/juggle competing priorities effectivelyAbility to work under tight deadlines, handling multiple assignments simultaneously is essential
Previous Workday implementation or support required. The contractor should possess strong knowledge of Workday, with experience configuring and supporting US Payroll and one or more of the additional functional areas – core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Comp, Benefits, Time, Absence, Global Payroll.
