We are seeking talented structural engineers at all levels of work experience to join our new Salt Lake City office and take part in the structural design of exciting LERA intermountain and west coast projects. Additionally, our SLC-based engineers will work with our New York office on national and international projects of varying size and complexity. Current projects led by our SLC office are located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, New York, New Jersey, and South Korea.
Responsibilities:Design structural steel, reinforced concrete, mass timber, masonry and glass structuresAnalyze gravity and lateral load resisting systemsDesign and detail structural elementsCreate drawings and communicate with Drafting and BIM DepartmentCoordinate drawings with other disciplines (Architects, MEP Engineers, etc.)Respond to RFI’s and review shop drawingsVisit construction sitesForensic engineeringHelp ?build and grow the SLC officeWork with the New York office on projects of varying size and complexity
Requirements:Master’s degree or 5-year equivalent degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural EngineeringGood intuition about the behavior of structuresExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a teamStrong organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilities
