The ideal candidate will have a strong passion and curiosity for research. This candidate should be able to conduct experiments to supplement work when necessary and analyze various points of data to establish findings. This candidate should also have effective writing skills in order to write research proposals and create reports.
ResponsibilitiesPerform multiple specialized cellular and molecular assays such as flow cytometry, luminescence assay, Western Blot, cell culture etc. using mouse and human cellsPerform in vivo mouse tumor model experiments, including tumor implantation and measurement, injections and organ isolationPerform T cell enrichment/purification from human PBMC and mouse spleensMaintain an up-to-date lab notebook and computer files with detailed experimental plans, data, and data analysis as well as an accurate log of inventoriesPerform laboratory administrative duties as assignedGive updates and presentations at lab meetingsAssist with the preparation of periodic progress reportsMaintain a safe workplace ensuring that he/she is aware of and observes appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulationsWork as a team member.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeExperience running flow cytometry preferredExperience with T-cellsStrong work ethic and passion for research subjectStrong communication, analytical and critical thinking skills
