We are seeking
Non Destructive Inspector II (NDT)
to become part of our team!
Your responsibilities will include:Conduct UT inspections structural welds using visual and liquid penetrating test methods to ensure compliance.Inspections will include butt, corner and tee welds in accordance with NAVSEA T9074-AS- GIB- 010/271.Schedule, conduct and observe records and submits testing and inspection results.Initiate corrective action reports required for the correction of deficiencies related to completion of work items.
Requirements for this role include:Must have a background working on navy vessels.Background and knowledge of welding processes and testing procedures.Previous NDT II Certification with shipyard industry strongly preferred. Recertification will be required.At least 3 years of experience as an Non Destructive Testing inspector.
Pay:
$36.00/hour and $120.00 per diem for non local candidates.
