Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified Proposal / Bid Coordinator to join our team. This is a career opportunity to work with a premier leader in the industry. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. The salary range is $19.25 - $24.00 hourly along with an exceptional benefits package (listed below). The primary job function for this position is to provide bid coordination support to our estimating team. Additionally, this role will provide support to our sales representatives. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of HVAC commercial construction.
Proposal / Bid Coordinator ResponsibilitiesReceive and manage bid invitations from our customer baseSearch and sort through bid invites in online plan roomsIdentify projects to bid on based on company criteriaRequest bids from vendorsDownload necessary plans & specifications and organize themManage a bid calendar and maintain project data in a CRMRespond to customer requestsMaintain an organized filing system
Requirements:
Proposal / Bid Coordinator Knowledge and Skills RequirementsMinimum Education preferred: Associate's DegreeTwo or more years related experience in the construction industry; knowledge of HVAC commercial construction industry is preferredTwo years' experience reviewing and understanding mechanical and architectural drawingsAbility to read plans and identify productsDetail-oriented, organized and continually strives for accuracy and qualitySelf-starter, with the ability to problem solve and follow-through with minimal supervision.Flexible, with the ability to work in a position where daily tasks are never the sameMulti-tasker that can work with tight deadlinesExcellent customer service and communication skillsA team player with a positive attitudeAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelBenefitsTexas Air Products offers a competitive salary and a pleasant, comfortable work environment.
