OverviewNew Jersey's academic health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) takes an integrated approach to educating students, providing clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of improving human health. Aligned with Rutgers University-New Brunswick and collaborating university wide, RBHS includes eight schools, a behavioral health network, and six centers and institutes that focus on cancer treatment and research, neuroscience, clinical and translational research, advanced biotechnology and medicine, environmental and occupational health, and health care policy and aging research.

Posting SummaryRutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Assistant for the Department of Urban-Global Public Health within the School of Public Health. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Student Assistant will provide research assistance for projects related to sexual and reproductive health.

Duties include:

Assist in preparing manuscripts and presentation materials:

Formatting to meet journal specifications, including text, tables and figuresChecking and formatting referencesCreate tables and figures for manuscripts and presentations using ExcelAssist with preparing presentations using Powerpoint

Research administrative tasks include:

Searching for and summarize literatureAssisting with social mediaAssisting with other administrative tasks as needed
