The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in environmental law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Duties:Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, attorneys, and business professionals.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence in a timely manner.Provide accurate and high-quality work products while meeting deadlines.Foster positive working relationships within the firm and with clients.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer use and virtual meetings.Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:Strong background in environmental law, with experience in key statutes (TSCA, FIFRA, CAA, CWA, CERCLA, RCRA) and analogous state laws.Concentrated experience in environmental litigation, regulatory compliance, and defense of enforcement actions.Familiarity with agencies such as the EPA, NOAA, Fish and Wildlife, DOI, and state agencies preferred.Experience advising clients on emerging environmental issues, regulatory requirements, and liability exposure.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.Admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. and at least one additional state.Certifications:Bar membership in Washington, D.C. and another state.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.Excellent organizational and management abilities.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Proficient in research and problem-solving, with conceptual thinking skills.Ability to influence others and employ persuasive communication techniques.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of prior law firm or agency experience in environmental law.Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) plan.
