A law firm seeks a commercial finance associate attorney with 3 to 7 years of experience to join its team in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will have a background in representing lenders in commercial finance transactions, including real estate finance, corporate finance, and asset-based lending. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on complex financial transactions.Duties:Represent lenders in commercial finance transactions, including real estate finance, corporate finance, and asset-based lending.Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and other transactional documents.Conduct due diligence related to commercial finance matters, including real estate and corporate transactions.Collaborate with clients to provide strategic legal counsel on finance-related matters.Work closely with senior attorneys and colleagues to manage complex financial transactions from start to finish.Stay up to date on developments in finance and lending laws, regulations, and industry standards.Assist with transaction closings, ensuring all legal requirements are met.Requirements:3 to 7 years of experience in commercial finance, real estate finance, corporate finance, or asset-based lending.Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Indiana, Ohio, or eligible for waiver into these jurisdictions.Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex finance and lending agreements.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.Solid understanding of finance and lending laws and regulations.
