Main Duties & Responsibilities
SummarySets up and assembles various aerospace parts. Works from blueprints, sketches,planning sheets, verbal instructions, and/or engineering, tooling, or equipmentinformation. Contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity andreduce costs. Works independently with minimum guidance in a team environment.This is a 2nd shift position from 2:30pm - 11:00pm.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprintspecifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, andmaterials.Assembles components per blueprint, work instructions, or specifications asrequiredInstall, heil-coil inserts, Lee plugs, restrictors, etc.Verifies completed component by measuring to work instruction, specification,or blueprint tolerancesMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures,rules, and regulations.Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.Mark parts as required per work instruction or blueprint requirements (inkstamp, vibro-peen, electro-etch)
Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk,stand, and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required todemonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to operate machinery. Specificvision abilities required by this job include close vision. Also expected ofthe team member is regular attendance, and the ability to work cooperativelyand professionally with others. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:Understandand read blueprintsProficientwith hand tools and mechanical inspection toolsAttention to detailQualityFocusAbility to setup and use hand tools ie: heli-coil gun, electro-etch, arborpressAbilityto part mark legibly with vibro-peen, ink stamp etc.This position requires access to information, or technology,which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Allapplicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S.person as a (i) citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) a lawfulpermanent resident of the United States (i.e. "Green Card Holder");or (iii) a person admitted to the United States as a refugee, or grantedasylum, as specified under applicable law.
