Determine part conformity, compliance, and ensure that itis suitable for use by our customer.Ensures that only acceptable product moves to the next operation and/orshipped.Ensures that all products have passed all inspection, test requirements, andthat appropriate records are maintained.Ensure that any product that fails any portion of the detailed inspection planor test requirements are communicated, tagged, and appropriate records aremaintained.
This position is for
1st shift
from 6:00am - 2:30pm.
Duties:Perform quality control inspections on products using precision measuringinstruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, and snap gauge, toensure product meets specifications.Collect and record data from inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance tocustomer/internal drawings, procedures, and specifications.Identify and document defects or deviations from specifications.Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet visual appearancerequirements.Follow established procedures and guidelines for quality control inspections.Completion of Detailed Inspection Plans (DIP) and AS9102 First ArticleInspection Reports (FAIR).
Qualifications
Requirements:5 years' experience as F/A, In-Process and/or Final Inspector in a Manfacturing environment.Proficient in GD&TStrongattention to detail and ability to spot defects or deviations fromspecifications.Excellent data collection and record-keeping skills.Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards. AS9100DAbility to work independently and follow instructions accurately.Proficient B/P and specification interpretation
Physical Demands:The employee is required to - stand, walk, push, pull, reach. overhead,and bend to the floor. - exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/orexert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or - exert up to 10 pounds offorce constantly to move objects.Working Conditions: the employee is subject to: high noise levels fromoperating machinesphysical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts - breathing fumes,dust and mist - skin exposure to oils and cutting fluid.
