The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of litigation experience, strong legal analysis skills, and the ability to independently manage cases from start to resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to contribute to a collaborative team while gaining experience in various aspects of commercial disputes.Duties:Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolutionConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefsDevelop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clientsHandle discovery, including conducting depositions and witness interviewsPrepare and argue motions and briefs in both state and federal courtsProvide regular updates to clients and negotiate settlements when necessaryStay informed on the latest legal trends and developments in commercial litigationAssist with business development efforts, including client presentations and networkingRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school4-5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on commercial and employment litigationStrong skills in legal writing, research, and analysisPre-trial and trial experience preferred, with the ability to appear in court independentlyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with electronic discovery tools is a plusEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law schoolCertifications:Active membership in the state barSkills:Strong litigation and case management skillsAbility to work both independently and within a teamExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesStrategic thinking with sound judgment in legal mattersClient-focused with strong negotiation skills
