A law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Antitrust Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with partners in the Antitrust Practice, handling a diverse range of matters, including litigation, mergers, government investigations, and counseling matters.Job Duties:
Collaborate with partners on antitrust cases, providing legal analysis, research, and strategic input.Manage and participate in all aspects of litigation, from case initiation to resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.Conduct legal research on antitrust issues, keeping abreast of relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.Provide counsel on antitrust implications for mergers, acquisitions, and business practices.Assist in responding to government antitrust investigations and inquiries.Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of significant antitrust experience.Solid understanding of antitrust principles and their application in various legal contexts.Preferably possess litigation skills, demonstrating the ability to handle cases independently.Undergraduate coursework in economics is a plus, showcasing a strong foundation in economic principles relevant to antitrust matters.Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate legal strategies and arguments.Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar.Skills:
Strong legal research and analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.Proficient in legal writing and drafting.Job Location:
