Scarlett Hotel Group is looking for a dynamic and creative dual property leader to drive sales success at our Fairfield Inn and Sleep Inn properties in Columbus, Indiana. Located near the hustle of downtown Columbus, these properties are within minutes of the city’s attractions and key demand generators. Our ideal candidate has significant experience with both Marriott and Choice sales tools as well as their respective property operations systems. Hotel Director of Sales Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company objectives
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance, support, and training
- Oversee the customer service function to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
- Drive business development efforts to expand market share and increase revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing strategies with overall company goals
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze data, and generate reports
- Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within sales and marketing
- Strong background in hospitality sales & market analysis tools/resources required
- Significant experience with Marriott & Choice brand, marketing and operations systems
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively foster a positive work environment
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for growth
- Experience in account management and outside sales
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM software
