location in the Core Diagnostics Division.The Global Director of MI, Data and intelligence will plan, develop and implement strategic market research and competitive intelligence strategies to guide product development and marketing strategies, which will profitably grow the Transfusion Medicine business. This strategic leader will direct the market research strategy for all Transfusion Medicine products currently in development and on market. Consults with the functional and area marketing groups, within and across the Diagnostics business to ensure plans and objectives are met. Provides direction and strategy to develop metrics used in managing business and evaluating Transfusion Medicine’s competitive performance. Provides market data and analysis used in planning process. Serves as a strategist for Transfusion Medicine’s critical business decisions. The leader is expected to work closely with division leaders globally to both leverage and share insights across the company.The Global Director of MI, Data and intelligence must be an accomplished customer analytics leader who is proficient in data management and analysis and who leads the ongoing operation of a data infrastructure process for the Transfusion Medicine business. The incumbent is responsible for developing and executing the division data strategy that includes managing the database and significant portions of business performance reporting and tracking across all Transfusion Medicine systems and assays. The incumbent directs the evolution of customer analytics, integrates new data sources, and analyzes centralized KPIs to enable fact-based decision making. The incumbent is the face of competitive intelligence for internal clients and is key to fostering a collaborative environment and ideating with business units to develop a suite of scalable advanced analytics and data solutions.What You’ll Work OnDevelop primary and secondary market research plan and budget.Identify and manage syndicated research purchases to maximize information flow.Set data strategy and guide Master Data Management (MDM) efforts that define how data will be used for business reporting and analytics as well as how external data will supplement internally generated information (such as sales targets, market growth, MS2, market pricing trends etc.)This position guides the organization's focus on the external environment across the 4Cs: Consumer(Patient / Donor), Customer (HCP & Retail Partners), Competitors and Category and serves as a strategistLead user groups and market assessment to inform the commercial-marketing decision-making process for new product design goals by capturing market and customer intelligence (both external end-users and internal commercial customers) based on solid market analytics working cross-functionally with Global Strategic Marketing, Global Medical and Scientific Affairs to capture clinical and technological trends and clinical landscapeThe incumbent is responsible for the overall design, implementation and delivery of all product market research and competitive analysis to the organization.Develop the annual competitive intelligence plan.Scope projects and ensure estimates, budgets, and deadlines are established for milestone reporting and successful executionMaintain internal knowledgebase of insights, analysis, and project outcomes.Required QualificationsBachelors Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business or related field is required10+ years medical or consumer market research/ marketing experience.Ability to clearly explain and discuss complex systems and analytical solutions within multiple levels of the organization (technical, non-technical) adapting to the audience.Excellent internal partner (including executive level) and experience with managing external vendorsExcellent communication skills (both oral and written) with strong analytical and presentation skills including advanced fluency with Microsoft business applications.Excellent Financial Acumen and in-depth knowledge of public company reporting, fillings, investor calls, broker research, and market analysts' publications ,particularly related to diagnostics industry, to transform market data into meaningful business insightsPreferred QualificationsMS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business or related field is preferred.Desirable Transfusion Medicine and Diagnostics experiencePrior experience marketing in a regulated healthcare industry is strongly preferred.Preferred License/Certification• 5+ years working with business information technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, Terradata, Natezza, and MicroStrategy.• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, including sales forecasting and/or marketing tactic diagnosis.• Strong understanding of database design and development for scalable business solutions.• Experience building service-oriented architectures and proficiency with distributed systems built on the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
