Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Grants Coordinator for Northern New Jersey Medicated-Assisted Treatment Center of Excellence. The primary purpose of the Grants Coordinator position is to support program leadership of the Northern New Jersey Medication Assisted Treatment Center of Excellence in development and execution of grants and related projects. This position is responsible for all areas of research administration, including both pre- and post-award functions. The Grants Coordinator is expected to provide sponsored project support from proposal to project closeout throughout the life of awarded sponsored projects. The Grant Coordinator will utilize financial reconciliation procedures and work with additional team members to ensure accurate projections and planning of project spending.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Assists in preparing proposals, develops budgets, prepares grant applications, proofreads, and edits documents and processes proposals. Consults and advises with Project Manager and members of the Project on content, timing, and documentation necessary for proposals to be submitted to funding sources. Analyzes and reviews revenue and expenses for all grants and contracts, reviewing transaction requests in accordance with budgets, Uniform Guidance, Rutgers policy, and sponsor regulations. Advises program leadership through reviewing transaction requests in accordance with budgets, Federal and State Uniform Guidance, Rutgers policy, and sponsor regulations. Participates in meetings, workshops and trainings along with other grant administrative personnel. Reviews information entered in medical billing system to verify accuracy and maximize income for clinical services provided. Understands and adheres to Rutgers compliance standards as they appear in RBHS' Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. .
