A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, specifically with expertise in CMBS (Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities) and balance sheet lending. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on CMBS lending and servicing, where you will work with a variety of real estate finance matters.Duties:
Represent lenders and servicers in CMBS and balance sheet financing transactions.Handle asset management and servicing for CMBS and balance sheet loans.Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents for commercial real estate transactions.Conduct due diligence and manage closings for real estate finance matters.Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to meet clients’ objectives.Requirements:
3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate finance.Expertise in CMBS lending and servicing, along with balance sheet financing.Strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills.Proven ability to handle large and complex transactions.Solid understanding of real estate finance laws and regulations.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active Bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state.Certifications:
Must be licensed to practice law in California.Skills:
Excellent legal writing and communication skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective interpersonal and client management skills.Job Location:
