We are recruiting a Senior Accountant for a large Manufacturing company in the RTP area.
In this role, you will play a key part in month end close, overseeing various accounting functions, systems initiatives, internal controls, and both variance and ad hoc analysis. The company offers a clear path for promotion and cross functional exposure. Salary to $115K plus bonus and a nice work balance with flexibility.
This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
This includes assisting with the 10-Q’s and 10-K’s, along with footnote disclosures.
Ensure the accuracy of the data through detailed reconciliations and ad hoc analysis
Manage and support the general ledger and month end close process, including journal entries and accruals.
Help execute the consolidation of Plant and other field operations
Assist in the preparation and coordination of external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Implementing accounting policies to improve process and controls
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Provide detailed reconciliations and variance analysis
Research technical accounting issues and present accordingly
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have either the CPA designation or be qualified/in process of completing the exam

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including experience overseeing a team.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software
